Canada has been identified as a key growth market within the network’s broader strategy.

Astrid Richardson, Global General Manager, Envoyage, said that: “Envoyage continues to grow globally, and Canada is critical to that momentum.”

And Richardson continued: “Gail’s leadership and local insight will strengthen how we support Canadian advisors, helping them build profitable businesses through the Envoyage Ecosystem, which brings together the best of a host agency and a consortia model.”

Chris Lynes, Managing Director, Flight Centre Travel Group Canada, observed that: “Canada’s independent travel sector has never been stronger.”

And Lynes continued: “Our advisors are running sophisticated, high-performing businesses, and Envoyage is designed to enable them to scale by connecting expertise with strong supplier partnerships. Gail’s leadership will help further that vision.”

Following the announcement of her appointment, Banack said: “Envoyage Canada is poised for strong growth, and I’m excited to lead that next chapter.”

She continued: “Our advisors are some of the most capable and connected professionals in the industry. My focus will be on amplifying their success, deepening supplier partnerships, supporting business growth, and ensuring Envoyage continues to set the standard for the independent travel sector in Canada.”

Banack’s appointment marks Envoyage’s investment in Canada’s independent travel sector and its growing community of experienced, entrepreneurial travel advisors nationwide.
