Get social with Tobago

Tobago-Jan15

Tourism Tobago has come up with a unique initiative for the Canadian market that will see it using social media to raise awareness of the innumerable attractions that the southern Caribbean island offers to its visitors.

That initiative sees Tobago launching a competition that will see one lucky Canadian becoming Tobago’s Island Connoisseur and spending 60 days in paradise experiencing all the island has to offer and using social media to tell Canadians all about the experience.

The program kicked off this week and potential Island Connoisseurs will need to put together a short bio and video explaining why they are the ideal candidate. A panel of 10 travel industry experts will pick the top 10 candidates and then Canadians will have the opportunity to select the winner.

For complete details, go to http://www.60daysinparadise.com … oh, and not only does the winner get all travel expenses and experiences paid for, they also get $30,000 for doing the job!

Tobago’s Island Connoisseur, 60 Days In Paradise initiative was developed by MKTG inc. and seen in the photo (l-r) are MKTG inc.’s Tony Vlismas, Reggie Kieda and Martin Jeffery during the launch of the program in Toronto yesterday (Jan. 14).
