Get Thinking With The Hotel Zed

HotelZed-jan1

Victoria’s The Hotel Zed is inviting meeting planners and organizers to think outside the beige conference room box and look to its “Think Tank,” a space that invites groups to innovate, plan and ameliorate their next big idea while surrounded by funky décor.

Available through April and for groups of up to eight, the Think Tank utilizes the Ping-Pong Lounge in the lobby building. When the conversation begins to slow and minds begin to inevitably wander, groups are encouraged to grab a paddle and play ball or grab a controller and hit the back-to-back Wii stations.

The Think Tank comes complete with white boards, flip chart and digital projector; access ports to connect to numerous wall mounted TVs and surround sound; high speed WiFi; unlimited free coffee; plenty of parking; and a memorable Polaroid picture of the guest’s team taken by the Hotel Zed staff. Groups are also able to access extra amenities including eight free bike rentals or vintage VW shuttle bus pick-up (seats seven) from their Victoria area office, Harbour Air, or to any downtown hot spot, if reserved in advance.

Full day rentals are $200, while half-day rentals (four hours) are $150, plus taxes. Hotel Zed also offers discount group rates on accommodations so attendees can take advantage of the hot tub, Zedinator waterslide and pool.

Catering options are available through the Hotel Zed’s on-site restaurant, The Ruby.
