Globus, Cosmos expand South Pacific Lineup

Globus and Cosmos are going all in on the South Pacific for 2026 with 3 new tours – and even more ways to say G’Day to epic journeys across the globe.
The tour companies are adding the new tours based on their Wish List survey – that they conduct year after year — of more than 25,000 past tour travellers which has consistently revealed that Australia and New Zealand are among the most desired destinations on Earth – and for good reason.
Stephanie Brooks, vice president, product and operations for the Globus family of brands, explained: “There’s no place like the South Pacific. We’ve crafted these new tours to immerse travellers deeper into the culture, cuisine and communities that make this part of the world so unforgettable – with added access, ease and eye-opening moments around every bend.”
Globus is unveiling a new Small Group Discovery tour that turns New Zealand into a private playground for an average of 18 guests (no more than 24): Treasures of New Zealand: Heritage, Vines & Vistas (14 days). This awe-inducing itinerary is packed with pinch-me moments – from glowworm caves and Mãori feasts to vineyard visits and a cruise across Milford Sound (aka “the eighth wonder of the world”).
The tour includes:
- Next-level noshing. High tea in Hamilton Gardens, wine tasting in Marlborough and a barbecue feast at a high-country farm.
- Thrills & chills. Choose to soak in natural hot springs, zip line through forest canopies, ride a scenic cable car or go whale watching along the coast.
- Hands-on heritage. Learn to shear sheep, jet boat through Fiordland and hear the stories behind sacred sites.
- Dinner with a side of drama. A progressive walking dinner that blends Mãori culture, local flavours and unforgettable storytelling.
- Optional Fiji finale. Cue hammocks, beach BBQs and tropical bliss on a 3-day extension.
As for Australia, Globus has added a 14-day Australia’s Culture & Coastlines tour to its lineup. This sun-soaked journey checks off Australia’s waterfront hot spots with style, from a bush walk and food tasting with Aboriginal guides to snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, sipping chardonnay in the Yarra Valley to a special visit at the Sydney Opera House. This tour features five fabulous cities, VIP access to Aussie icons and wildlife galore with the opportunity to extend the journey in Fiji.
As for Cosmos, it’s adding a new Classic Australia tour. The 10-day guided vacation delivers all the highlights without the hefty price tag, including an Opera House tour plus Sydney Harbour cruise; Great Barrier Reef catamaran and snorkeling and guided sightseeing in must-see cities across ‘Oz.’ Guests are invited to extend their vacation in the Outback or Fiji.
