Globus Guarantees Oberammergau Pricing
Kim Clarke, director of sales with the Globus family of brands, reports that the company is guaranteeing the pricing, in Canadian dollars, of all of its Oberammergau Passion Play 2020 tours – but only when clients are booked by June 5.
At the same time, the company has announced that it will be accommodating clients in the Hotel Boeld, which is located in the heart of the village and just steps from Oberammergau’s main street.
“Guaranteed pricing for a tour taking place two years away is almost unheard of and gives clients enormous peace of mind,” says Clarke. “This is a huge selling feature for agents and we urge them to contact their Oberammergau prospects before the June 5 deadline with the great news.”
She also noted that with the Passion Play – which takes place only once every 10 years – being so popular, travellers often have to stay quite far outside the village so the guarantee of a very central hotel is another great reason for clients to commit now.
Three Globus family companies – Globus and Cosmos with escorted tours and Avalon Waterways river cruises – are offering Oberammergau packages. The Passion Play will run from May through October 2020.
