Goway introduces direct deposit program

Goway Travel has announced the launch of a direct deposit program to pay agents commission on bookings even earlier. According to officials, the program ensures that agents receive commissions directly into their agency bank account within one week of the client making final payment. “We’ve always made it a priority to pay agents on time and at time of final payment, rather than at the end of travel as some suppliers do,”says VP Wholesale, Cathy Mulrine. “Now, agents simply register their agency banking information online, and the funds are electronically transmitted straight into their bank account. Agents have already invested time and effort into making the sale, so we wanted to find a way to pay commissions even quicker.”The new system processes commissions on the Thursday following final payment posted to the Goway file. Agents simply register online at Goway.com/suppliers their agency details and bank name and address (for security purposes Goway does not ask for the bank account number online). A form is generated that agents can mail or fax in to Goway with their bank account details, plus a signature from the agency owner and the nominated email address. Notification of the transfer is sent by e-mail within 48 hours prior to payment.
