Harbour Air partners with Aeroplan

Harbour Air, North America’s largest seaplane airline, which is based in Vancouver, has just signed an agreement with Aeroplan. This gives travellers a new way to earn Aeroplan points whenever they fly on an eligible Harbour Air flight.

A fixed number of Aeroplan points are available to be earned based on the fare class flown by the Aeroplan member, as reflected in a points earning system. That is, they will earn 200 Aeroplan points for a Harbour Air Flex Fare, 150 points for a Harbour Air Comfort Fare, 100 points for a Harbour Air Value Fare and no points for a Harbour Air Light Fare.

Coming in 2026, Aeroplan Members will be able to use their points to explore more of B.C with Harbour Air. “It’s a natural fit that brings our communities a little closer together,” said Chris Fordyce, chief commercial officer for Harbour Air.

“As a quintessential part of Pacific Northwest travel, Harbour Air’s iconic seaplane service opens up a whole new category of experiences for Aeroplan Members,” said Scott O’Leary, the VP of loyalty & product for Air Canada.

This partnership follows the launch of the Harbour Air Club, Harbour Air’s own loyalty program designed to reward frequent flyers. Harbour Air Club members earn Club Credits on qualifying flights, unlocking exclusive perks across three tiers, from complimentary extras to upgraded experiences. Harbour Air connects communities between Vancouver, Vancouver Island and beyond, operating a fleet of over 40 aircraft, including De Havilland Beavers, Otters and DHC-6 Twin Otters. It serves 15 destinations year-round, and operates up to 200 flights per day. Most are served by float plane, but destinations like Victoria and Tofino also receive wheeled aircraft during the winter season.
