Hug A Tree And Win With Trees4Travel

Trees4Travel is holding a fun contest this Valentine’s Day to gift one lucky winner 100 trees.

The contest is simple — post your best tree hugging photo on Linkedin, Instagram or Facebook and use the following tags: @trees4travel and #treehuggingchallenge2022.

Make sure to be as creative as you can and have fun with it.

One lucky winner will be chosen as the recipient of 100 trees.

To put this into perspective, 100 trees will cover 16,400 kgs of CO2 from your travels. It’s the equivalent of 14 roundtrip flights between Vancouver and Toronto or 8 return flights from New York to London.

The contest winner will be announced on Valentine’s Day – February 14th. Go get hugging for your chance to win.

In honour of Valentine’s Day, Trees4Travel has also created a special digital card, enabling anyone looking for a unique gift to send a real tree to their loved ones for the price of a regular greeting card. This is a unique and planet positive way to send someone a Valentine’s Day card this year.

If you need any more encouragement to enter the contest, here’s a fun fact. Hugging allows the brain to release oxytocin, a chemical that is cardio protective, meaning that it protects the heart.

Hugging also fights insomnia, eases tension, builds self-esteem, and even slows down the signs of aging. While you’re looking for your tree, remember that studies have shown that just spending time around trees can promote health and happiness too.
