HX Expeditions introduces CAD Pricing, 130th Anniversary offer

Responding to feedback from the Canadian travel trade community seeking greater pricing flexibility amid ongoing currency fluctuations, HX Expeditions has introduced a new option that allows Canadian guests and travel advisors to book expedition voyages in Canadian dollars.

Carla Brake, Senior Director of Sales, Americas at HX Expeditions, based in Toronto, explained that: “Offering pricing in Canadian dollars strengthens our commitment to the Canadian market. It gives our advisor partners greater clarity when quoting voyages and allows travelers to plan their expedition with the confidence and convenience of booking in their local currency.”

Canadian guests and B2B partners can now choose to book in either USD or CAD, with CAD pricing available beginning today (March 24).

While HX’s website will continue to display pricing in U.S. dollars, reservations in Canadian dollars can be made by phone through HX’s Guest Excellence (GX) team at 866-312-6791.

The rollout comes alongside HX’s largest-ever North American roadshow, which included at stop in Calgary earlier in March and an upcoming event in Toronto on April 22.

The events bring HX leadership and expedition specialists directly to advisors, featuring destination insights, product updates, and selling strategies.

HX Expedition Ambassador Alex McNeil, who is based in Toronto and has completed nearly 200 expedition voyages worldwide, also participates in the program.

HX Expeditions is also launching an 130th anniversary offer to commemorate more than a century of exploration, science, and seeing the world differently.

From March 24 to April 30, 2026, guests can enjoy up to 35% off an expedition OR a free upgrade to a suite on Antarctic voyages (subject to availability), which will be offered on select departures from April 20, 2026 to March 31, 2028.

The discounts include:

• Antarctica: Up to 25% off | Cabins from $9,512 pp; Suites from $13,613 pp
• Galápagos: Up to 30% off | Cabins from $6,751 pp; Suites from $8,847 pp
• Alaska: Up to 35% off | Cabins from $3,636 pp; Suites from $5,950 pp
• Greenland: Up to 15% off | Cabins from $8,801 pp; Suites from $12,367 pp

All current sailings are now available to book in CAD. This includes the 130th anniversary sale running from March 24 through April 30, 2026, offering up to 35% off expeditions to Antarctica, Alaska, Greenland and more, or a free upgrade to a suite on Antarctic voyages.
