Intrepid Travel unveils its August Showdown for travel advisors 

Intrepid Travel is calling on travel advisors across North America to step up, compete, and claim the crown during its August World Sale. A booking blitz packed with big savings, bold prizes, and serious bragging rights.

Running from Aug. 12 to Aug. 31, 2025, the World Sale offers all travelers up to 20% off select 2025 departure, including bucket-list favorites like Japan, Vietnam, Iceland, Morocco, and India.

But the real action is happening behind the scenes, where travel advisors will go head-to-head in a leaderboard-style competition to see who can book the most and walk away with the ultimate reward.

As for the prizes, they include:

The Grand Prize

• A FREE Intrepid trip (up to $2,500 USD)  — Either a free single supplement or a companion trip (also up to $2,500 USD) that will be awarded to the top-selling advisor by total transaction value (TTV) during the incentive period.

10 Secondary Prizes that include: 

• 5x Urban Adventures (up to $150 USD)
• 5x Intrepid List travel books

Secondary prizes will be awarded via random draw to any agent who makes at least one eligible booking.

As for how to compete, here’s the details:

• Make a new booking for 2025 travel between August 12–31, 2025 (confirmed once deposit is paid).

• Winners will be announced on Sept. 2, via email and social.
