It’s So Miami

Representatives from the Greater Miami CVB and 10 industry partners wrapped up a two-day sales mission in Toronto last night (Oct. 27).

With 90 travel agents in attendance, day one consisted of a training event with a destination presentation and sessions with hoteliers at the Westin Harbour Castle.
“Canada is still our number two international market and we’re here to teach all of our travel agents, partners and tour operators all the new things that are happening in Miami,” Linda Stilmann, senior director USA, Canada & emerging markets, cruise liaison, at the Greater Miami CVB told PressToday.
Day two comprised of an appreciation dinner held at Hawthorne Food & Drink.
“We chose this venue because it’s farm to table and that’s a big thing for us in Miami,” says Stilmann, pictured below. “A lot of people know Miami for the beaches and nightlife, and we have a lot of that, but we also have a large agricultural district and two national parks.”
The Miami crew is taking the mission to Montreal tonight.
