Jamaica Takes To The Ice

While the only ice you’re likely to find in Jamaica is in your drinks, it was a different story last night as the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) took to the ice in Toronto hosting industry partners at the Toronto Maple Leafs game.

It was Jamaica night at the Scotiabank Arena with brand highlights posted throughout the arena, giveaways and a musical welcome to patrons by the Arsenals SKA Band.

Angela Bennett, the Jamaica Tourist Board’s regional director for Canada, told PressToday the JTB is celebrating its second year of collaboration with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment and it was a chance to further roll out its “Jamaica: Heartbeat of the World” campaign.

“This is a good target audience for us and a great platform to showcase the brand,” said Bennett, who added it was also a nice way to thank partners.

The JTB also took the opportunity to release its Jamaica Annual Events & Festivals guide for 2020.
