Las Vegas announces new advisor reward program at F1 movie screening

Before getting a first look at Brad Pitt’s new F1 racing movie ahead of its official release date, last night the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority revealed details about a new year-long rewards and recognition program for top-performing Canadian travel advisors.
“The Vegas Insider Club is an exclusive program that is being launched here in Canada,” noted Diego Gantiva, account representative, Canada for the LVCVA at the screening event in Toronto. “Members will enjoy special airline and member perks, exclusive invitations like tonight, a once-in-a-lifetime Vegas experience and a Vegas Insider FAM.”
There will be two VIP Incentive FAMs held in November 2025 (for the top Jan-Sep 2025 bookings) and May 2026 for the top 10 booking agents, monthly recognition with Apple Watch Series 10 prizes and in-market events like Vegas Golden Knights road games and a culinary series at Michelin Star restaurants. Notably, agents can enter their bookings as far back as 24 months at www.TrackMyLasVegasBookings.com.

As the screening took place on a cold and rainy evening, Charmaine Singh, president & CEO of Reach Global Marketing, which represents the LVCVA in Canada, pointed out that it’s currently pool and spa season in Vegas. “It’s not too late to book your summer in Las Vegas. We guarantee you warm weather.”
The team highlighted some of the latest accommodation news from the opening of Fontainebleau Las Vegas in Dec. 2023 to recent updates at Paris Las Vegas with the conversion of the Jubilee Tower to the Versailles Tower featuring 756 redesigned luxury guest rooms including balcony suites.
Entertainment wise, some of the big tickets for the year include The Wizard of Oz and The Backstreet Boys at Sphere and Canadians Alanis Morissette and Shania Twain taking on residencies this fall.
Other big news for the destination is the A’s baseball stadium launching in 2028, which had its groundbreaking earlier this week.

“We’re all very excited to add to our portfolio of endless entertainment and sports in the destination,” added Karly Melo, PR representative, Canada for the LVCVA. “Obviously F1 is the reason we’re here tonight celebrating the city. We are going to be year three with F1 happening in Las Vegas and this year check out the prices because they’ve developed some really good packages that are more attainable for some of your clients.”
Melo shared that the main stadium now features race car simulators for those who want to get a feel for the action behind the wheel.
Back to the premiere of F1, which is in theatres as of today, several key scenes were filmed in Las Vegas and those paying attention will also notice several other Vegas references in the background.
“We’re thrilled to have our Canadian trade partners among the first to experience the star-studded, action-packed F1 movie,” shared Molly Castano, vice president of public relations and communications for the LVCVA. “Las Vegas had the honour of serving as one of the film’s most dynamic backdrops, with scenes captured during both our 2023 and 2024 Grand Prix. The electric energy of the city combined with the adrenaline of the race creates the perfect catalyst for the story. While nothing compares to experiencing Las Vegas in person, seeing our city light up the big screen comes remarkably close.”
