Lisa Pierce retiring from Air Canada after 40 year career

In a Flash sent today, Air Canada has announced some key executive changes.
The carrier advised in that Flash that Lisa Pierce, Vice President, Global Sales and Air Canada Vacations, will be retiring at the end of the year after a 40 year career with the airline.
Francois Choquette, currently Managing Director, Revenue Management for Air Canada, has been named to the new position of Head of Sales at Air Canada.

Choquette started his career in aviation 25 years ago with Air Canada in its maintenance department before moving to the commercial side of the airline’s operations, where he worked in alliances and Aeroplan, before moving to France to head sales for Air Canada in Europe for several years.
On his return to Canada, Choquette worked for a tour operator for several years, before rejoining Air Canada’s sales team, responsible for Specialty, OTAs and Quebec agencies; then moved to the carrier’s revenue management department.
The Flash message concludes: “Join us in wishing Lisa a wonderful retirement and in congratulating Francois on his new position.”
