Orbitz Worldwide has selected global technology company Sabre as one of its technology providers to power Orbitz.com and its other North American family of brands including CheapTickets, Orbitz Partner Network and Orbitz for Business.
The multi-year agreement will see Sabre provide technology and travel management services beginning in 2015 that Orbitz will use to increase its online conversion performance and revenue, and enhance the customer experience.
Chris Orton, chief operating officer for Orbitz Worldwide, said: “Sabre brings global leadership, scale and the latest technology that we will incorporate into our wide choice of consumer offerings to book the perfect trip. As more and more of our customers move to tablets and mobile devices we want to continually streamline that experience with new technology.”
