MSC Cruises has launched a comprehensive e-learning platform for Canadian travel agents called MSC Masters, a digital program to provide information about the cruise line’s products, ships and sailing itineraries.
As well, the program aims to broaden MSC’s distribution channel by raising interest from travel agencies who are not yet familiar with MSC Cruises.
Agents who enrol in the program will progressively earn rewards to eventually become an MSC Cruises Master. As an additional incentive for agents MSC Cruises, where permissible, will draw 10 $200 or 20 $100 gift cards for those who successfully complete the exam by Aug. 31.
Ian Patterson, country manager, MSC Cruises Canada, said: “Our product has significantly evolved in recent years and is set to develop further in the near future. The cruise experiences we offer will become richer and more varied and we want to ensure that our travel partners in Canada are familiar with our fleet of ships, onboard services and ambitions for the future.”
MSC Masters is designed to help travel agents familiarize themselves with MSC Cruises’ existing fleet of 19 ships, new itineraries and experiences created to meet the needs of guests of all ages from around the world. As a result, the program will enable travel agents to find the right MSC Cruises vacation for their customers.
The digital program comprises interactive modules, useful videos, tutorials about MSC Book and information to provide a deeper insight into MSC Cruises.
MSC Masters offers virtual tours of the company’s fleet to provide travel agents with a better understanding of the onboard experience. It also helps agents get in touch with the closest MSC Cruises Business Development Manager.
