Park’N Fly steps up to support with community fundraising initiatives

Park’N Fly has been demonstrating its ongoing commitment to supporting healthcare and wellness initiatives in the communities they serve, participating in a couple of charitable events recently.
On Sept. 13, the Park’N Fly team took part in Hope Air’s Haul for Hope at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Competing in an extraordinary challenge, the team tested their grit and determination by pulling a 67,000 lb Dash 8 aircraft 75 metres racing against the clock and against other teams.
The event raised funds to support Hope Air’s mission of providing free medical travel and accommodations for Canadians in need, ensuring equitable access to healthcare no matter where patients live. With the demand for Hope Air’s services growing rapidly, the event underscored the importance of working together to ensure no patient is left behind.

On Sept. 22, the Park’N Fly team joined the fifth annual Walk to the Lighthouse for Mental Health and Addictions in Burlington. Sponsored by Equilibrium Burlington in support of the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation, this community walk brought together approximately 500 participants.
Funds raised will support infrastructure, programs, and services for patients, families, and caregivers through Joseph Brant Hospital’s inpatient and outpatient mental health and addictions programs.
Carlo Marrello, CEO of Park’N Fly, said: “Our Park’N Fly team is proud to stand behind organizations like Hope Air, Equilibrium Burlington, and the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation, who are making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.” Marrello continued: “Whether it’s helping Canadians access essential medical care far from home or improving mental health and addictions support for patients and families, we believe that giving back is not just important, it’s essential.”
Park’N Fly extends its gratitude to all event organizers, participants, and community partners for their efforts in raising awareness and funds for these critical causes.
