Canadian visitations to Florida are on a steady upward trend. Tracy Vaughan, director of international marketing and events for VisitFlorida, told a Toronto audience Wednesday that last year saw 3.7 million Canadians visit the Sunshine State, a 4.1% increase from 2012. And the number of Canadians visiting the state since 2008 has risen over 25%, she added, helping Florida move closer to its goal of being the world’s premier tourist destination.
