PONANT EXPLORATIONS sets a course to Antarctica for Winter 2027–2028 

PONANT EXPLORATIONS recently unveiled details for 28 Antarctic voyages during the 2027–2028 winter season.

The 2027–2028 Antarctic season features:

• Four PONANT EXPLORATIONS ships sailing in Antarctica, including three expedition vessels operating the company’s flagship itineraries

Le Commandant Charcot is a pioneering vessel that features a PC2 polar hull, combines advanced technological innovation with a strong commitment to sustainability.

Its hybrid propulsion system, powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), enables more responsible exploration of fragile polar ecosystems. Two expedition voyages will reach remote Southern Hemisphere latitudes accessible only to a polar exploration ship capable of navigating ice floes.
