Princess Academy Marks 10 Years

Regal-Princess-April25

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Princess Academy, Princess Cruises is recognizing the more than 90,000 consultants enrolled by offering two contests with special prize opportunities and new program enhancements based on input from travel partners.

Over the last 10 years, the award-winning Princess Academy has provided travel agents an extensive curriculum with more than 40 courses that not only offers valuable product and sales training, but also rewards them with a free graduation cruise that includes the same coveted benefits received by elite members of the cruise line’s Captain’s Circle loyalty program when they complete the program as a Commodore. More than 9,700 graduation cruises have been redeemed and over 1.9 million courses completed.

Offered free of charge and accessed conveniently online from home or office, Princess Academy enables agents to increase their Princess product knowledge and expertise so they can effectively sell Princess Cruises to their clients.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary, Princess is offering various perks, including:

  • Commodore Booking Contest – offers active Commodores a chance at one of 10 prizes, including a cruise on the new Majestic Princess to the Mediterranean and a cruise aboard Caribbean Princess to the Panama Canal – just for making a booking using POLAR Online. Agents who make a booking for a balcony stateroom or above receive two entries. The contest runs through Nov. 1. Bookings not made via POLAR Online are still eligible for entry. See the Princess Academy Dashboard for contest rules.
  • EZair Course Contest – when Academy consultants completed the EZair course, they were automatically entered for a chance to win two roundtrip tickets on Delta Airlines.

In addition, Princess recently introduced new enhancements based on travel consultant input, including: New dashboard for easier access to courses, personal status information and news; Course improvements including interactivity, voice over on various courses and new design with enhanced graphics; Improved depth of information so consultants can select exactly what they want to view.
