It is called the Riviera Nayarit and is one of the areas Canadians visit every winter because of the preponderance of excellent all-inclusive resorts. While the region and its beaches may be perfect for those who want to escape the cold and just sit and relax for the week or two they are there, Riviera Nayarit has much more to offer.

It’s also the second most important bird watching area in North America.
