Scenic Adds Second Sailing With Jann Arden

Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours reports that Canadian musician, actor and author, Jann Arden, has agreed to host a second sailing with Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, after the initial offering sold out nearly immediately.

Arden will join the eight-day Gems of the Danube, sailing from Nuremberg to Budapest on May 2, 2022.

She said: “I am absolutely thrilled that our first Scenic river cruise was met with such enthusiasm. Wow! To sell out all the gorgeous staterooms in a matter of hours made my heart soar! So, we have decided to add another adventure filled sailing because of all of you! Space will fill up fast so make sure you book your spot, as soon as possible! I am looking forward to seeing all of you in 2022.”

The itinerary explores the best of the Danube — all with Ms. Arden as special guest host. The sailing highlights include a day and night in the 11th-century city of Nuremberg; sampling beers at one of the oldest monastic breweries in the world, Weltenburg Abbey; exploring Salzburg, birthplace of Mozart and backdrop for The Sound of Music; enjoying a cooking demonstration; taking a behind-the-scenes tour with the owners of the 13th-century Artstetten Castle, once home to Archduke Franz Ferdinand; discovering Vienna by bike on a guided bike tour; and learn about Budapest’s Jewish heritage with an expert local guide.

While in Vienna, guests are treated to a Scenic Enrich exclusive private concert at Palais Lichtenstein, one of the city’s grandest venues.

Pricing for the sailing starts at CDN $5,895 per person, double occupancy. Guests who book by March 31, 2021 can fly for CDN $495 per person and if paying in full 12 months prior to the cruise, guests can also take advantage of special Super Early Bird savings of an additional 10% off published fares.
