Seasonal Craft Beer Tasting On Tap At Casa Velas

Summer’s perfectly paired beverage is now being offered in a seasonal craft beer tasting at the adults-only Casa Velas in Puerto Vallarta.

Held weekly in the boutique resort’s botanical gardens, four artisanal beers are paired with fare ranging from fresh apple salad and crisp ceviche to the regional specialty Pescado Zarandeado and decadent Mexican chocolate.

On the craft beer menu guests will find the light and refreshing Cerveza Cayaco with notes of freshly baked bread and rice accompanied by floral and citrus aromas; the medium bodied Cerveza Colimita, a tropical representation of a German lager with lighter bitter notes and floral aromas hitting the palate; the American-style Cerveza Páramo pale ale made with three types of malt, offering hints of tropical, citrus and passion fruit; and the tropical coffee porter, Cerveza Ticús, with light and complex toasted coffee bean flavours.

Included in the resort’s nightly rate, guests will also be provided with an artisanal beer rating card to evaluate each beer based on taste profile and preference. Additionally, guests can enjoy a selection of mixed drinks crafted with chamomile, lavender, guava, soursop, jackfruit, myrtle, passion fruit, mango, coconut, basil, rosemary and other herbs and fruit from the resort’s botanical garden.

All-inclusive resort rates start at $273 per person per night, based on double occupancy. Luxury accommodations, gourmet meals, premium liquor and wine, 24-hour suite service, taxes, gratuities and more are included.
