Skal International Toronto tees it up for charity

Skal International Toronto had travel industry members take to the links yesterday and help make the world a better place at the same time.

The group held its annual golf tournament yesterday, with around 100 golfers and sponsors on hand at the Royal Woodbine Golf Club and The Vue for what was billed as “a day of great golf, great food and beverages, great prizes, and of course great networking!”

The event was billed as a Scramble – “you play the best ball per shot as a foursome to keep pace.”

The golf was followed by a reception and luncheon.

Organizers noted there were lots of prizes available for entrants.

The event drew numerous sponsors, including Baxter Media.

Organizers noted the day featured live auction trip prizes in support of the Daily Bread Toronto Food Bank and Skal International Toronto.
