St. Vincent And The Grenadines Picks Its Winners

At last week’s St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ 2021 Roadshow – held virtually — two lucky travel advisors were the big winners of the day, each being randomly selected for a trip for two.

The roadshow featured a welcome from Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and Culture, Hon. Carlos James, an update from Glen Beache, CEO of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority, as well as overviews of the various islands and a few of the many hotel options available in the destination.

After the presentation, participants were able to chat directly with hotel representatives in breakout rooms and learn more about the properties.

The first grand prize draw – a seven-night trip for two, with flights on Air Canada and accommodations in St. Vincent and three of the Grenadines islands – went to Dana McGregor from North South Travel in Vancouver.

The second trip prize – a surprise addition courtesy of Petit St. Vincent Resort (www.petitstvincent.com) – went to Susan Henry from Custom Vacations in St. Catharines and features flights from Canada and four nights’ accommodation at the stunning property that sits on its own private island (pictured above).

And all road show participants will receive a special ‘thank you’ gift courtesy of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, including special marinades and seasonings from the destination, as well as an original print by a Vincentian artist.

As for getting there, Air Canada is set to resume its direct service from Toronto on Dec. 6, 2021.
