Book now and save, that’s the message from NYC & Company to travellers looking to spend some time in New York City during January, February and March 2015.

New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization points out that by doing so, visitors will be able to take advantage of restaurant and theatre savings, along with lower hotel room rates.

Plus, there’s plenty of special events, including NYC Restaurant Week, which runs from Feb. 16 to March 6, with reservations opening on Feb. 2. During Broadway Week, from Jan. 20 to Feb. 5 (tickets go on sale Jan. 9) and Off-Broadway Week, from Feb. 23 to March 8 (tickets go on sale on Feb. 9), visitors and New Yorkers can enjoy two-for-one tickets to nearly all theatrical productions.

And the months of January and February boast the lowest average daily hotel room rate – typically 40% lower than the average, which gives New Yorkers and visitors a chance to save on their hotel stay. To check out these rates, go to http://www.nycgo.com/hotels .

Fred Dixon, president and CEO of NYC & Company, observed: “With special restaurant and theatre promotions along with the most attractive hotel rates of the year, there are even more reasons to visit New York City and enjoy the vibrancy, energy and excitement the five boroughs have to offer. The winter is an ideal time to experience New York City at a more affordable price, and we encourage visitors to book their trips now for an unforgettable time in New York City.”
