Sunquest Introduces goGuide

Guide Moves Away From the Traditional Brochure Model

Sunquest is reinventing the travel brochure with the release of its new goGuide: The Caribbean & Mexico Collection, Vol. 1.

Adorned with a bright and very noticeable red cover, available in both official languages, and filled with photography and useful destination information, officials say the new goGuide kicks off what will be a very exciting time for the brand.

Built around the new tagline “go your own way,” the Sunquest goGuide is “intended to be an inspirational piece for consumers; a resource they can use in creating the vacation of their dreams, travelling when they want, where they want, and for however long they want,” says Bryan Klompas, executive vice-president, Sunquest. “It is also a marketing piece that demonstrates in very real and tangible terms that we are rebuilding the Sunquest brand that everyone – and the industry in particular – remembers so well.”

Very different from the traditional travel brochure, the goGuide is a travel guide, “something consumers can use in planning their vacations and when they’re done, it is a piece that is certainly worthy of a spot on the bookshelf,” added Klompas. “For travel agents, it’s a selling tool that very clearly demonstrates our strong support of the retail community.

“This initiative is just the first part of a comprehensive marketing and branding strategy; the coming months will be an exciting time for our company as we reawaken the huge potential of an iconic Canadian travel brand.”
