Sunwing Adds Second Flight From Hamilton
Sunwing Vacations is making it easier for residents of Hamilton, Ont. to reach the Dominican Republic with the introduction of a new direct flight from Hamilton to Punta Cana.
The new route, which began Dec. 19, is the second one to be offered by the tour operator, who commenced operations from the airport last year with a direct service to Varadero, Cuba.
Customers on the new service can also be amongst the first to experience Sunwing’s new and exclusive, adults-only resort, CHIC Punta Cana. Opened just last week, this beachfront property promises first rate amenities and a selection of spacious suites. Couples and newlyweds alike will enjoy fine dining at one of five à la carte restaurants, 24-hour room service, and premium international drinks at any of the resort’s seven bars including the unique Oxygen Bar that serves guests restorative oxygen shots.
The CHIC Mansion, a 3,505-square-foot private home with six guestrooms, private pool and wine cellar could be the perfect setting for a bachelorette, special birthday or anniversary party.
A week’s stay at CHIC Punta Cana starts from $1,495 plus $430 taxes per person based on two people sharing a Luxury Junior Suite on an all-inclusive basis and departing Jan. 9, 2015 from Hamilton.
