Tauck boosts travel agent support

Travel agents selling Tauck are finding that managing their bookings is easier than ever before thanks to the company’s newly launched Agent Connect web portal.

The password-protected, dedicated travel agent site allows travel professionals registered at Agent Connect to quickly and easily service their Tauck clients with a range of new online tools available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“We’re dedicated to continually improving every aspect of our business,” said Tauck CEO Dan Mahar, “whether it’s crafting the industry’s finest guided land journeys and cruises, or enhancing the ways we support our network of travel agents before and after their clients travel with Tauck. Agent Connect is just the latest example of Tauck’s commitment to our travel agent partners.”

With Agent Connect, agents can now access clients’ booking details and provide information ranging from flight details to passport data to emergency contact info. Agents can also make online payments for their clients and register to receive e-mail notifications when clients’ travel details are due or missing.

In addition, agents can access and update their own agent account details, including full name, preferred name, e-mail address, photo and other personal information.
