Terror in Turkey
Governments and tourism officials around the world are condemning a series of attacks in Turkey, the latest an explosion at a Kurdish wedding yesterday morning (Aug. 21) that has killed at least 53 people.
It’s reported that the attack in the city of Gaziantep may have been carried out by suicide bomber as young as 10 to 12 years of age. The Turkish president has said the terror group ISIS is the prime suspect behind the attack.
Earlier in the week, an explosion rocked eastern Turkey, killing four security personnel and injuring seven in Bitlis province. This attack came after two car bombings targeted police stations, leaving at least six people dead.
