TICO Approves Comp Fund Claims
On March 28, TICO’s board of directors approved payment of $6,848 to assist eight consumers who did not receive the travel services for which they had paid.
The payment was due to the closure of Akkiratourz Ltd. in Toronto ($5,950) and SkyGreece Airlines S.A. ($898).
The board denied one claim as the travel services being claimed were available, but were not received because of an act or a failure to act on the part of the customer.
