TICO Reminder
The Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO) would like to remind all registrants that it is holding a meeting of members on Dec. 16, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Toronto Congress Centre, 650 Dixon Rd., Toronto.
The purpose of the meeting is to allow registrants to vote on a proposed change to the TICO By-law. The change is in relation to the composition of the TICO board of directors in light of the dissolution of the Canadian Institute of Travel Counsellors (“CITC”). The TICO board is proposing that the CITC seat be eliminated and that an additional industry elected at large position be added to the board.
“I would like to encourage registrants to attend and vote on the proposed by-law change. This is your industry and your opportunity to vote on adding an additional elected position from the industry on the board,” said TICO president Michael Pepper.
