TICO Wants Your Input

TICO is reaching out once again to the industry for feedback.

As part of its on-going industry engagement campaign, TICO will be holding three roundtable sessions this month to gain insight from travel agents.

The purpose is to share information and secure input from registrants and travel agents. In these sessions, TICO will be presenting information on its mandate and current initiatives and will seek feedback on a variety of issues of importance to the Ontario Travel industry including TICO’s Consumer Awareness Campaign.

This is also an opportunity for attendees to meet Ontario’s newly appointed Travel Registrar, Richard Smart who will also be participating at the sessions.

Feedback received from participants impacts the way TICO communicates and works with the industry, as well as how it promotes the industry to the public. Similarly, participants have gained increased insight into being part of a regulated industry and the value of associating their business with TICO.

Any TICO registrant or travel agent located in these areas are encouraged to attend. Space is limited so participants will be booked on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no fee to attend and meals and refreshments will be provided.

Sessions, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., are being held in Thunder Bay March 24 at the Valhalla Inn, and Toronto/Mississauga March 26 and 31 at the TICO offices, 2700 Matheson Blvd. E., Suite 402, West Tower, Mississauga.

Registration can be done online by e-mailing [email protected] or by calling 905-624-6241, ext. 233 or 1-888-451-8426, ext. 233.
