Along with the launch of its Europe 2015 program, Holiday House also wants to highlight the more than 140 different tour options it has available in places like London, Paris and Rome.

“Holiday House really is a one-stop shop for anyone travelling to Europe,” said Nino Montagnese, senior vice-president, Holiday House. “We can create a fully customized package that matches a person’s exact wants, needs and budget, enabling them to book every aspect of their holiday in advance, in Canadian dollars. This is great not only from a cost-savings perspective but also from a planning one – in one transaction they can book flights, hotels, transfers, car rentals, theatre tickets and tours and then just relax and enjoy their vacation.”

The following are few of the tours available:

  • London: Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making for Harry Potter: This half-day tour provides an opportunity to explore the magic of the Harry Potter films. Available through Holiday House partner Premium Tours, this tour begins as the other tours leave. It starts with a private extended session in the Great Hall where guests enjoy previously unheard anecdotes from the expert guides and is followed by a unique behind-the-scenes walking tour that showcases a huge array of beautiful sets, costumes and props. Guests will get to explore Dumbledore’s office, Diagon Alley, including Ollivander’s wand shop, Flourish and Blotts, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, and more. Price: $104 per person.
  • Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Dover & Greenwich: This full-day tour takes you out of busy London for a day to explore some of England’s other popular sites. First stop: Leeds Castle (pictured), called “the loveliest castle in the world,” where participants enjoy a private viewing – exploring the chapel, galleries, courtyards and banqueting hall – prior to the castle opening to the public. Next it’s on to Dover and those famous white cliffs, before arriving at the ancient city of Canterbury for a visit of its famed Cathedral. Next it’s on to historic Greenwich for a walking tour and then a cruise along the River Thames back to London, where the tour ends. Price: $139 per person.
  • Paris: WWI & WWII Battlefield Day Trips: From the long line of battlefields that made up the Western Front during the Great War, to the extensive system of coastal fortifications called the Atlantic Wall built by Nazi Germany between 1942 and 1945, these tours are all led by expert guides. Choose between four tour options: Somme Battlefields from $269 per person, Battle of Arras and Vimy Ridge from $269 per person, Yprès Salient from $287 per person and D-Day Tour from $308 per person.
  • Rome: Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s Basilica: On this tour, participants enjoy an in-depth look inside Saint Peter’s Basilica, Raphael’s Rooms, the Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel and get to skip the line. Price: $74 per person.
