On The Road With TPI

Travel Professionals International (TPI) hosted a large of group of agents last night in Mississauga, Ont. as the organization continues its Summit Meeting Series, taking in nine cities in 11 days.

According to TPI vice-president Tim Morgan, the road shows, which include guest speakers, agent training, a trade show, networking and prize giveaways, will attract more than 300 advisors and 30 preferred partners.

Morgan told PressToday the main messages delivered are: retention – continuing to innovate for existing advisors with a focus on technology enhancements and tools; growth – increasing margin, continuing shift to higher margin products, focus on FIT, cruise, and luxury (Virtuoso and others); and recruitment, with TPI inviting only the top experience advisors to join the organization, based on specific criteria around entrepreneurship and proven business acumen.

The TPI Summit Meeting Series continues today in St. John’s and tomorrow (May 14) in Halifax.
