The Travel Corporation Celebrates WE Day

Travel trade partners were invited to take in an action packed day of inspirational speeches and performances at The 10th annual WE Day Toronto yesterday (Sept. 28) from a private suite at the Air Canada Centre courtesy of The Travel Corporation and WE.

The star-studded affair brought together the likes of Grammy-award winning singer Kelly Clarkson, actor Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin on Stranger Things), sprinter Andre De Grasse and actress/singer Vanessa Hudgens with world-renowned speakers, and Craig and Marc Kielburger, international activists and WE co-founders.

Over the past decade, WE Day grew from a single event to a series of 19 stadium-sized events across Canada, the United States, the UK and the Caribbean. In order to attend, thousands of students earn their spot by taking part in the WE Schools program, which empowers young people to become compassionate leaders and active citizens.

Last year The Travel Corporation announced its global partnership with ME to WE, allowing travellers to add ME to WE Immersive Volunteer Trip extensions in India, the Ecuadorian Amazon and Kenya on bookings with its brands, including Trafalgar, Contiki Holidays, Insight Vacations and Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection.

Stay tuned for more on the partnership in coming weeks.
