The Travel Corporation Introduces Online Agent Portal

The Travel Corporation (TTC) has re-affirmed its commitment to travel agent partners with the creation of a new online initiative – My Travel Portal (MTP).

An industry first in guided holidays and river cruising, MTP is designed to provide agents with a simplified solution for delivering nothing but the best service for clients. From providing the highest duty of care to being able to effortlessly personalize client trips, everything is taken care of within the online portal.

According to officials, MTP affords agents extra hours in their lives, knowing there’s a simple go-to place that holds all the necessary information for each client’s travel plans with the family owned, international travel group. It also hosts an e-documentation portal, saving both time and trees.

The MTP streamlined offering means less hassle for agents and their clients alike. From having client emergency contact details to hand in the event of unforeseen circumstances to obtaining travellers’ personal preferences to ensure a trip becomes tailored to specific tastes, MTP facilitates assistance with holiday plans in one centralized and convenient platform. Addressing pre-trip, on-trip and post-trip needs, the portal is an invaluable resource for clients wishing to view itineraries on their mobile device rather than in paper format, seamlessly sharing holiday snaps on social media, taking trip notes in their journal and chatting with their Travel Director and fellow travellers, plus providing overall peace of mind.

Agents can effortlessly put the “care” back into “customer care” by simply adding client contact details to Manage My Booking. A traveller’s completed MTP profile enables a seamless experience when in each destination: from saving time at border crossings and hotel check-ins, to helping save the planet with e-documentation instead of paper versions being issued. TTC has also partnered with a non-profit organization focused on global reforestation One Tree Planted, pledging to plant a tree for every guest who opts out of printed travel documents. The travel brand has already committed to the reforestation of several hundred acres of barren and devastated land.

Commenting on the TTC My Travel Portal (MTP) launch and e-documentation implementation across the portfolio, Brett Tollman, chief executive said, “We are proud to announce our latest innovative initiative, My Travel Portal, which has been carefully crafted with our agent partners in mind. At TTC, we take immense pride in the trust and valuable relationships we have built across the industry globally and we continually strive to equip agents with the best tools for success. Given that sustainable tourism practices are a cornerstone of what we stand for at TTC, we are delighted to confirm our roll-out of e-documentation and partnership with One Tree Planted, who share our vision for preserving the environment for future generations. With the help of all those who opt out of paper documents, we will be able to make a significant impact. We thank our partners in advance for all that they will do to educate their clients on the power of travel for good.”

For initial launch, the singular platform encompasses Trafalgar, Contiki and CostSaver, with Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold to activate by end of March. U by Uniworld and Uniworld will follow shortly thereafter this year, and then additional brands from the TTC portfolio will be added to MTP in due course.
