TravelBrands Gives Back

TravelBrands is ready to bring its driving force to a different cause – supporting children’s healthcare initiatives.

On Wednesday (Aug. 16), the tour operator will donate 1% of all sales to the SickKids Foundation.

“Our goal is to bring the travel community together for a great cause,” says Frank DeMarinis, president & CEO, TravelBrands. “Whether you are a client or a supplier, we are encouraging everyone to support the advancement of child healthcare.”

This one day of donating profits complements other initiatives TravelBrands participates in to raise money and awareness for SickKids. These events include an annual 5km employee walk, participation in the Mississauga Dragon Boat Race Festival and the annual TravelBrands Charity Golf Classic. To date, TravelBrands has raised approximately $447,000 for the SickKids Foundation.

All net proceeds will be contributed to the SickKids’ Labatt Family Heart Centre. These funds support its goal of being the leading pediatric and congenital heart disease centre in the world. SickKids also assists in ensuring that all complications from being born with a heart defect do not stop its tiny patients from living full lives.

Clients, suppliers and partners are encouraged to make their bookings through TravelBrands on Aug. 16 to contribute towards this worthy cause.
