TravelBrands is bringing its driving force to a special cause – supporting children’s healthcare. On July 16, the tour operator will donate 1% of all sales made to the SickKids Foundation, for a third year in a row.
“This year, our donations will directly support SickKids and their Cardiac Operating Room,” says Frank DeMarinis, president and CEO, TravelBrands. “Our goal is to help kids and families in need. We are calling on the entire travel community to come together and support this worthwhile initiative.”
TravelBrands has raised over $1 million for the SickKids Foundation to date. This one day of donating profits complements other initiatives TravelBrands participates in to raise money and awareness for SickKids. These events include an annual 5 km employee walk, participation in the Mississauga Dragon Boat Race Festival and the annual TravelBrands Charity Golf Classic.
Travel agents can also donate their Loyalty Rewards points to the SickKids Foundation. TravelBrands will match any Loyalty Rewards donation made between July 16 and Aug. 31.
