TTC Re-Affirms Commitment to Travel Agents

The Travel Corporation (TTC) has re-affirmed its on-going commitment to travel agent partners with the evolution of it’s “My Travel Portal” (MTP) platform.

One year since launch, officials note that MTP has supported agents in delivering an enhanced service for their clients. Everything is taken care of within the cohesive online portal, from guests being able to personalize their trip and access day-by-day itineraries, to hosting an e-documentation hub and supporting agents in ensuring a reasonable duty of care for every client.

To build on the successful first year in market, TTC has invested to optimize the platform to further enhance the end to end experience with its brands. Following a 3,000-plus travel agent research initiative and an in-depth consumer study on utilization and feedback, officials say the platform now provides even greater functionality and ease of usability.

The optimized MTP 2.0 streamlined offering means even less hassle for agents and their clients. From having guests’ emergency contact details timely available in the event of unforeseen circumstances to obtaining clients’ personal preferences to ensure their trip becomes tailored to their specific tastes, MTP facilitates assistance with vacation plans in one centralized and convenient platform for agents.

Addressing pre-trip and on-trip needs, the portal continues to also help TTC and its agent partners do its part in “Making Travel Matter.” When guests choose the option to view itineraries and documents on their mobile device rather than in paper format, TTC plants a tree in conjunction with the non-for-profit organization focused on global reforestation, One Tree Planted. Together, last year we already reforested several hundred acres of barren and devastated land.

Trafalgar and Insight Vacations agents and clients with bookings to travel in 2019 can now access the newly optimized Travel Portal with Luxury Gold, Costsaver, Contiki and Uniworld rolling out in the coming months. Additional brands from the TTC group will be added to MTP 2.0 in due course.

Commenting on the MTP launch and e-documentation program across TTC, Brett Tollman, chief executive said, “We are proud to announce our latest innovative initiative, the evolution of My Travel Portal 2.0, which has been carefully optimized in line with our agent partners input. At TTC, we take immense pride in the trust and valuable relationships we have built across the industry, globally, and we continually strive to equip agents with the best tools for success. Given that sustainable tourism practices are a cornerstone of what we stand for at TTC, we are delighted to confirm our continuation of e-documentation and partnership with One Tree Planted, who share our vision for preserving the environment for future generations. With the help of all those who opt out of paper documents, we will be able to continue to make a significant impact. We thank our partners in advance for all that they will do to educate their clients on the power of ‘Making Travel Matter’ – our TTC mantra today. We look forward to continuing to invest in enhancing this MTP tool further in the future as well.”
