VIA Rail Canada has kicked off a humorous advertising campaign showing its top reasons for students to make their holiday travel bookings with images of a bulging laundry bag, growling refrigerator and most important of all – a parent missing his child.

In conjunction with the new campaign, VIA is also running a Q&A contest on Facebook and Twitter through Dec. 7 for a chance for Canadian residents 21-25 years of age to win a weekend getaway for two valued at $3,000.
