Voyzant celebrates new opportunities at New Year Gala

Voyzant clearly didn’t allow the arrival of the Year of the Horse to pass unnoticed.
The Toronto-area firm marked the occasion on Feb. 5 with what was billed as a Lunar New Year Gala, paying tribute to a significant development in Chinese culture with a dinner for a cross-section of the travel industry replete with colourful Chinese entertainment in Markham, Ont.
“The Lunar New Year represents renewal, fresh energy and new opportunities — a fitting moment for us to reflect and look ahead,” said Voyzant CEO Chippy Jegathesan.
The event drew the likes of travel agents and airline representatives, with all attending earning Jegathesan’s appreciation.
“Voyzant’s strength lies in partnership. When our agents grow and our partners succeed, we grow together.”
Voyzant later thanked those who attended the event.
“We were honoured to host more than 200 esteemed guests from our airline partners, suppliers, and travel industry colleagues,” the company said. “Your presence made the evening truly special. This celebration was an opportunity to embrace new beginnings, strengthen our partnerships, and express our sincere appreciation for your continued collaboration and support. Voyzant’s success is built on the relationships we forge, and we are deeply grateful for the trust you place in us.”
“To all those who travelled from afar to be with us, thank you. Your effort and commitment do not go unnoticed, and we wish each of you a safe journey home.
“As we embark on the Year of the Horse — a symbol of strength, progress, and vitality — we look forward to working together to reach new heights.”
Meanwhile, Jegathesan’s colleague Eric Ip told those on hand in Markham that the event was an impressive one. “This is something very special, ” he stated.
