WestJet ups pre-reserved seat fees

Starting Jan. 16, WestJet will be increasing its pre-reserved seat fees for regular and exit-row seats on all flights. Seat fees will continue to be charged based on flight distance: One hour or less per segment, $5 regular seat, $10 exit-row seat; one to 2.5 hours per segment, $10 regular seat, $15 exit-row; over 2.5 hours, $15 regular seat, $30 exit-row.
