WHISTLER DELAYS CLOSING DATE

Snow conditions remain good at Whistler Blackcomb, prompting operators to extend the closing date for one-half of the double-mountain resort. Whistler Mt. itself shut down ski/snowboard operations on April 21 for the season, but Blackcomb has announced that it will stay open for skiers and boarders until May 27. Deals are available to take advantage of the sun and warm temperatures, including the SPF Spring Unlimited Pass for $229. Also, a $199 down payment can lock in a price of $1,330 for a 2013/2014 seasons pass, and allows skiing for the rest of this spring season. (http://www.whistlerblackcomb.com)
