Globus Family Of Brands Adds Harper To Its Team

Denise Harper has joined Globus family of brands’ Canadian team as its new senior director of sales.

Camille Olivere, chief sales officer for the Globus family of brands, said: “We’re dedicated to reinforcing our sales and trade relationships across Canada while building upon our platform of education, awareness, trust and partnership.”

Olivere continued: “Denise is well-poised to help us do just that. Not only is she a seasoned travel industry leader with more than 35 years of experience, but Denise is also known for her ability to lead high-performing teams while deepening strategic, trade relationships. With her help, we’re setting the stage for increased success.”

Harper will join the Canadian leadership team which includes Carla Brake; Ainsley Ericksen and Swagat Pandya. Together, they will execute a growth plan focused on business development for travel advisor partners; innovations in touring and river cruising as well as increased trade marketing efforts to drive demand. Canada’s leadership team is supported by a network of global resources as well as a talented regional team of seasoned travel experts.

Of her appointment, Harper said: “I’m looking forward to jumping into this new role for the Globus family of brands. It’s a thrilling opportunity to join a team of travel professionals with the mission of deepening strategic partnerships while also optimizing engagement, growth, sales and profitability across the Canadian market.”

In addition to her most recent post with Virtuoso Travel, Harper was formerly vice president of sales for Exoticca Travel; director of business development for Travel Edge and director of sales (Canada), for G Adventures.

She will join the Globus family of brands on Aug. 14. Among her first duties in this new role, Harper will attend Avalon Waterways’ and ACTA’s inaugural River Cruise Summit in October.
