Avalon Enhances the Suite Experience

Avalon Waterways is making the experience onboard its 12 Panorama Class ships in Europe even better with several new enhancements.

The line’s Suite ships, famed for their Panorama Suites with window walls opening over two metres to create “open air balconies,” are now enhanced with the choice of four firmnesses of mattresses and USB ports in every stateroom.

Every Suite ship also has 16 free-of-charge bicycles on board for clients who wish to tour ashore independently (and the crew can even provide a complimentary picnic). The Panorama Bistro, open for light and diverse dinners, has gone to self-serve style with no reservations required — perfect for when the ship is in port for and passengers wish to explore ashore in the evening.

“We know the success of a client’s experience can be all about the little touches, and we pride ourselves on our attention to detail,” says Stéphanie Bishop, Canadian managing director for the Globus family of brands, Avalon’s parent company, adding that in 2019 every ship in Avalon’s European fleet will be a Panorama class one.
