Guatemalan volcanic activity causes concerns

Volcanic activity near the popular Guatemalan tourism destination of Antigua was prompting the evacuation of thousands of people from the area Friday. The 3,763-metre-high Fuego Volcano was shooting ash well into the air. It wasn’t immediately clear if there was any impact on Antigua itself or if anyone was being evacuated from that community. Antigua is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its Spanish colonial architecture and its charming ambience draws many tourists.
