WestJet Confirms ‘Eventual Integration’ Of Sunwing Airlines

WestJet has confirmed that it will eventually integrate Sunwing Airlines into its mainline operations.

In an e-mail response to questions from Press Today, WestJet spokesperson, Julia Kaiser wrote: “While we can confirm the eventual integration of Sunwing Airlines into WestJet, the anticipated timeline to do so has not been determined at this time.”

Kaiser’s email response continued: “Our immediate focus remains on the integration of Swoop’s highly successful business model across WestJet’s operations.”

She also told Press Today that: “To provide further clarity, Sunwing Vacations will continue to operate as part of the WestJet Group and will not be impacted by the airline integration.”
