Air Transat, in partnership with Visit Berlin, hosted eight travel agencies and tour operators from Ontario on a familiarization trip to the German capital from July 6 to 11, 2025.

This initiative celebrated the launch of Air Transat’s new, exclusive nonstop route connecting Toronto Pearson (YYZ) and Berlin Brandenburg (BER) airports.

“At Air Transat, we’ve always championed the transformative power of travel. This holds particularly true today, as we provide the only non-stop service from Canada to Berlin, a journey enhanced by our acclaimed in-flight service—recognized by Skytrax as the World’s Best Leisure Airline for the seventh time,” explained Laura Albrow, Account Manager at Air Transat, who also traveled with the group. “Bringing these travel experts to the German capital allowed them to truly grasp the city, renowned for its complex history, authenticity, and inspiring urban experiences. We believe this firsthand insight fully equipped and enabled them to confidently craft and sell unforgettable Berlin vacations to their clients.”
