BST Vacations unveils 2026 Peterborough Charter Collection

BST Vacations (Blowes & Stewart Travel Group Ltd.) has unveiled its 2026 Peterborough Charter Collection, marking 12 years of offering seamless, stress-free air travel directly from the Peterborough Airport.

Originally launched in 2014 to celebrate BST’s 40th year in business, the charter program began with a sold-out Boeing 737 flight to New York City that filled in just 24 hours. A second plane was quickly added to meet demand, and the milestone was celebrated with 280 clients on a rooftop in Manhattan.

Since then, BST’s Peterborough departures have continued to grow—offering travellers thoughtfully planned experiences with the unmatched convenience of departing from their own community airport.

This year, BST Vacations’ collection features a mix of guest favourites and exciting new destinations, carefully selected to inspire every kind of traveller — from coastal gems to sun-soaked escapes:

  • Holland America Volendam Cruise – Canada & New England Circle (May 30 – June 9) — Already half sold! Cruise the mighty St. Lawrence, stroll Québec City’s cobblestone streets, and visit a slice of France in St. Pierre & Miquelon.
  • Charlottetown, PEI (June 4 to 7) — Only 10 rooms left! Fresh seafood, coastal beauty, and Anne of Green Gables charm.
  • St. John’s, Newfoundland (June 18 to 21) — Colourful row houses, rugged coastline, and genuine East Coast hospitality.
  • Calgary during the Stampede (July 2 to 5) —  Western spirit and summer fun—explore the city and enjoy Stampede season your way.
  • St. Pierre & Miquelon (September 18 to 21) — Sold out! Now accepting names for waitlist. A rare opportunity to visit a French territory just off Canada’s coast.
  • Scottsdale, Arizona (October 15 to 18) — Striking desert landscapes, wellness, art, and a touch of southwestern flair.

“Every year, our Peterborough program continues to grow in popularity,” says Scott Stewart, President of BST Vacations. “We know how much our clients value skipping the long drives and busy airports. These departures make travel easier and more enjoyable—and our 2026 lineup is one of the most exciting yet.”

Locally sourced food and drink is included on all outbound flights. A continental breakfast is prepared fresh the morning of departure by Sobeys Catering on Lansdowne Street. Spirits and beer are sourced from local distilleries and craft brewers, adding a taste of home to the in-flight experience.

On return flights, adult beverages are available for a $5 donation, with all proceeds supporting local causes. Over the past two years, this initiative has raised funds for Hospice Peterborough.
